Since 1998, Hong Kong YauChong International Investment Group Co., Ltd. (YauChong) has been working for the research and development in the field of the large crystalline silicon solar cell, investing continuously in the research of improving photovoltaic transformation efficiency. Based on the average photovoltaic transformation efficiency gaining the international advanced level, Hong Kong YauChong International Investment Group Co., Ltd. founded Zhejiang Sunflower Light Energy Science & Technology CO., LTD in 2004 in the famous historic and cultural city Shaoxing in Zhejiang.

At the first phase, the annual production capacity of Sunflower Light Energy Science & Technology is 100MW, among which 75MW production line is constructed and used . It mainly produces 125mmX125mm and 156mmX156mm crystalline silicon solar cells and the solar modules in 160W, 170W, 180W etc.

At present, the average photovoltaic transformation efficiency in mass production has gained the international advanced level and the company is still cooperating with research centers from home and abroad doing research to realize higher photovoltaic transformation efficiency.
